This article of the News of the world say that in may of 1886, there was a market of Indian products in Hyde Park in London.

-Suez Canal-it is an artificial canal that it was built in Egypt in the end of 19th century and it separates Asia and Africa.

-Livingstone-stanley-he was a Scottish missionary and explorer in the end of 19th century. He discovered Victoria´s waterfall in Africa.

Labour Movement

1-Mention some laws achieved by workers in England improving their work conditions.

-The improve of their conditions of work
-8 hours labour
-The increase in their wages

2-What happened the first of May?

-It was the day that the workers demand the eight hours of labour in the big cities by demostrations.

3- Look for information about the suffragettes. Who was Emily Davison?

-It is a movement formed by women of the middle class that look up a better economic and social situation and the same rights as men.
-Emily Wilding Davison (1872 -1913) was a person who belong at this movement. She was a fighter girl that died fightening for the rights of the girls.
